About Us
Founded in 1976, the South Bay Traditional Jazz Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the performance, promotion, and preservation of traditional jazz. We sponsor monthly live music and dance sessions on the 4th Sunday of each month except for May, November and December when the dance sessions are on the 3rd Sunday. We feature a different guest band each month for listening and dancing. Check the Calendar for upcoming bands.
South Bay Jammers
The jam session after the featured band is open to local musicians and youth bands interested in playing traditional jazz.
Dancing
The Elks Lodge features a huge dance floor - come and dance all afternoon to great live traditional jazz!

You will see couples, families and singles from all age groups at our events. We welcome cultural diversity and attendees from all backgrounds.
