South Bay Trad Jazz Society
is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preservation of American Classic Jazz. In 2026, we are presenting a fabulous program of large events, ranging from youth spotlights in the park to grand galas in marble palaces. We also present lectures and listening sessions, as well as a monthly jam session, which is free to all to attend.

A 1930's Nightclub Experience​
August 20th, 2026
Save the date to step back in time with our 1930s nightclub experience! You will walk up the red carpet, through the marble columns, and into a magnificent ballroom built in 1924. The sweet sounds of the orchestra will fill the room, as glittering gowns and shining shoes glide across the dance floor. You will visit the beautiful bar, and then take your seat as the floor show begins. In true 1930s Hollywood fashion, a parade of musical stars from the bay area firmament will sparkle on the stage. This is a night to remember… one that you absolutely do not want to miss. A limited amount of VIP dinner tickets will be available. Keep an eye out for our early bird specials when tickets go on sale! Musical artists to be featured for this event include Heidi Evelyn’s Jazz Sophisticates Dance Orchestra, Nick Rossi’s Jazzopaters, Mikiya Matsuda’s Alcatraz Islanders, and more!
